Student Mental Wellbeing Services Manager

Our vision is to ensure an outstanding student experience through the provision of enabling, responsive and student centred support services.
To support this ambition we are seeking to appoint two experienced, motivated and confident student support professionals to provide leadership and management to our student services teams, ensure best practice in service provision and to bring new and innovative ideas to the arena of Student Support, Health and Wellbeing.
As part of the leadership team you would be expected to be an experienced transformational manager capable of maintaining and enhancing the student experience as well as impacting positively on levels of student retention and attainment.
The Role
Student Mental Wellbeing Services Manager
You will play a key strategic role in the effective delivery of our in demand Mental Wellbeing services. Providing leadership and management of both the Mental Health and Counselling teams you will also work with colleagues across the University to promote understanding of student need, develop new and innovative approaches to service delivery and ensure best practice support is readily accessible to students.
Requirements
Educated to degree level you will be expected to also hold a relevant professional qualification and have current accreditation with an appropriate professional body. You will already have experience of leading and managing services within mental health or counselling or a comparable setting within higher education and have experience of therapeutic supervision. A post graduate qualification would be desirable.
