DevOps Systems Administrator
A new permanent oppurtunity for a DevOps Systems Administrator based In Central London has arisen. The ideal candidate is ideally someone with previous eperience in puppet.
This is a fantastic opportunity where the successful Systems Administrator will be working within a software company with several large clients such as M&S and Clarks. There are some great benefits along with an excellent salary.
The successful candidate will be extensively experienced in Puppet including being able to write modules, and coming from a DevOps background.
Essential Criteria/ Duties:
- Puppet configuration management of hundreds of servers
- Good knowledge of common DevOps practices and automation tools – Vagrant, Docker, Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Linux (preferably Ubuntu)
- Basic Networking knowledge
Desirable skills:
- Common monitoring tools, Nagios, Cacti, etc.
- Xenserver virtulisation
- AWS EC2 / Rackspace / Cloud based hosting environments
- ITIL or similar best practice framework
- Agile process framework
- Windows Server 2012
- Linux Security best practices
Experience
- 3+ years of experience of working in IT Infrastructure, ideally for a software development firm.
Salary – £55-65k
Start Date– ASAP
