HSEQ Advisor – Main Contracting – £65,000- London. A great Health & Safety Advisor role with a leading principal contractor

They retain and develop high-calibre directly employed staff across all disciplines, with a strong in-house capability in demolition, civil engineering, earthworks and land remediation/restoration. Over the past 25 years the company has grown organically to become an established Main and Principal Contractor, undertaking major, multi-disciplinary, complex construction projects

About the Role:

* Holding the role of a Health & Safety Advisor on a variety of construction sites within the Rail and commercial / residential new build sector
* Working for a Health and Safety Manager, you will provide functional support, guidance and professional expertise to the project teams on all health and safety matters affecting a diverse * portfolio of projects.
* Your aim will be to assist the safe successful delivery of infrastructure improvements being managed by the Project teams.
* Deliver high level toolbox talks throughout the business from site operatives through to senior management and director level.
* Help with the development of HSEQ training material and manage the roll-out on each site under your remit
* Advising, guiding and coaching all personnel with the implementation of the Company * Health & Safety Management System (iMS)
* Assist, where needed, with the development of Health, Safety and Environmental * Management plans if applicable and coordination of review
* Research Safety, Health and Environmental Issues and best practices as directed by the SHE * * Manager or delegate
* Carrying out audits and inspections on site where required and ensure non-conformances are closed out.
* Able to drive the new Behavioural Safety Programme that has recently been introduced into the business

About the Candidate:

* Holder of GradIOSH membership, working toward CMIOSH would be preferred
* Must be a holder of a Sentinal Card, PTS, COSS and LUL Track awareness
* Completion of SSSTS / SMSTS would be advantageous
* Holder of a CSCS Card
