Sales and service offices are located worldwide, with offices in London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, San Paolo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Job Title: Inside Sales and Service Representative
Reports To Sales Operations Director
Work location: London Wapping Office
Salary: £28,000 plus OTE
Overall Job Purpose
To provide first class account management to our key customers and ensure a high level of customer service to all contacts.
Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%)
*Take care of the customer & support the sales effort through the ownership of a set of named customer accounts.
*Handle all customer service, product and account enquiries, capable of handling difficult customers and situations.
*Provide quotations to the customer, through our Project and Quotations team where applicable.
*Manage orders: checking / dating / expediting / co-ordinating shipments in and outside of the EU / confirming & communicating.
*Administrate RGAs & credits, Co-Op fund applications, Friends of Industry and Showroom orders and sample requests.
*Communicate and work with other departments effectively (IS, Credit control, Tech support etc.)
*Stakeholders – customers, influencers, specifiers, sales teams, internal teams (tech support/warehouse/quotes), management
Person Specification
- Fluent English, French and German
- Educated to degree level in a technical area (or at least 5 years of work experience in a sales or service role)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Strong desire to deliver excellent service
- Problem Solving Skills
- Good relationship builder
