Buckland Recruitment are currently working with a number of Nurseries in and around the East London area who are recruiting for Room Leaders. To be a Room Leader you will need to have a genuine love of working with children as well as a happy and positive attitude to help you thrive in a childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with the day to day running of your designated room to ensure a happy and safe environment for the children.


• Overseeing a team of practitioners and helping to ensure that their jobs are done to the highest possible standard.


• Planning games and activities for the children to participate in.


• Keep parents informed of their child’s progress as well as any key events or changes regarding the nursery.

For this position you MUST have the following

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare


• Experience of working within a similar role


• Good knowledge of Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS)
