Our client is a leading retail business with exciting growth plans, already boasting a number of well known brands and products. They have recently been voted in the top 50 businesses to work for and are ‘an employer of choice’. After recent growth and establishment of new revenue streams they are looking to recruit a senior manager for their commercial finance division.

Reporting into the Regional FD, the role will provide commercial finance support, insight and challenging performance across the company. It will involve extensive business partnering with non finance, specifically with core development and operations teams. This will be a highly strategic and visible role, working on all commercial initiatives, inclusive of new product launches, pricing, contract negotiation and continual performance and efficiency monitoring.

Other duties;

• leading on the long term planning


• financial analysis, supporting the business in achieving of financial targets


• generating meaningful and challenging targets


• establishing a strong fp&a structure for commercial use across the business


• establishing strong working links across the business and developing short and longer term planning based on various scenarios


• performance monitoring and commercial negotiation in terms of existing and new contractual agreements


• strategic initiatives, leading on all project and ad hoc profitability and efficiency saving deliverables

Experience required;

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)


• Strong commercial experience essential


• Progressive individual
