Assistant Financial Controller - FMCG

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an international FMCG business. Our clients are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to join their London head office.

In this role, you will have full responsibility for the UK P&L, assist with the preparation of annual forecasts & budgets and offer ad-hoc financial support to key stakeholders. We are looking for candidates with team management experience in a similar industry. The business has big plans for expansion so this is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress in the future.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly P&L and balance sheets


• Preparing cost analysis and cash flow forecasts


• Implement KPI’s across regions to encourage best practice


• Mentor and develop small team


• Ad-hoc duties to support the wider team

Candidates must be / have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)


• Previous experience in retail, FMCG or multi-site business


• Strong communicator and excellent relationship builder
