A thriving Secondary School based in the Harrow borough are currently recruiting for a talented English Teacher to join them on a long term basis from January 2016 until the end of the academic year.

The school is interested in hearing from candidates available on a full time basis, as well as candidates looking for part time (3 days minimum). The ideal candidate will have QTS/QTLS, however the school are willing to consider candidates without these qualifications who have the relevant experience.

The role will be teaching English up to Key Stage 4. However, there is an opportunity to teach up to Key Stage 5, as well as opportunities for added responsibility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about teaching English and committed to making a difference.

You will be working with a friendly and supportive team of staff who are dedicated to the overall development of their students. The school offers excellent facilities, with opportunities for CPD.

The role will expect you to teach KS3 and KS4 English, engaging and motivating students to their highest level. You will work closely with the English department, and become and valued member of the school community.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) who specialises in English. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.
