Interior Designer for Residential Property Developer

An interior designer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required for an exciting role with a prestigious and well-regarded property developer. This volume developer operates at the top end of the market and is currently developing several well-known schemes across London and the South East. The company produces design-led quality residential apartments and houses and is a rapidly expanding and hugely successful business.

An interior designer is required to assist the manager of the department in the delivery of high quality specifications to the market. The successful individual will be required to manage projects, liaising with external design agencies to manage the design process from inception to completion. Work will include designs for apartments, communal areas and leisure areas and also individual residential properties. You will also be required to deliver show homes to schedule and budget.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an interior design role delivering high quality residential or leisure projects. You must have experience with AutoCAD and a 3D programme for example Sketchup or Vectorwork. Ideally you will have experience of working client side in a fast paced and pressurised environment.

The successful applicant must have a true passion for interiors and have a portfolio that demonstrates this. You must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and not be afraid of hard work! This is a very busy team working to tight deadlines so you must be able to prioritise a heavy workload and remain calm under pressure.

Salary is £28,000 – £35,000 DOE and hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.30. Based in South West London.
