IT ENGINEER

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Central London

Role Summary

One of my clients in the Online Retail Sector based in London are currently on the lookout for an IT Engineer on a permanent basis to join their Support Services Group in providing 1st-3rd Line Support to internal customers and Project Management, including prioritisation of workloads for both local and remote teams to ensure project delivery.

They are ideally looking for candidates who have experience in the manufacturing or retail sector with strong Linux Server and Cisco Network administration skills.

IT Engineer: Essential

• Cisco Routing & Switching


• ASA Firewalls (remote configuration)


• LAN/WAN/Wireless Configuration


• RHEL / SUSE Linux Server Administration

IT Engineer: Desirable

• CCNP Certified


• RHCE/RHCSA (or other relevant Linux Certification)


• Windows Server Administration

This is very much a hybrid position in the sense that you will be carrying out project management and BAU within a mixed Linux and Windows environment, however Linux and Cisco Networking experience are the key essentials.
