Senior Bridging Underwriters x 5 London

A long established and growing Specialist Lender require talented Senior Bridging Underwriters to join a busy team.

The key task of the Underwriter is to assess the risk and accurately underwrite bridging loan applications.

Responsibilities:

To ensure that all new business is reviewed within the agreed service levels and according to agreed Lender mandate levels, KPIs, policies and procedures

To request and chase necessary references, credit searches, quotations, valuations etc when required
To maintain a strong focus on fraud avoidance
To pro actively manage a pipeline of cases
To provide brokers and customers with accurate case updates at all points in the process
To provide a high level of customer service at all stages of an application

Skills & Experience:

Previous underwriting experience, ideally with some exposure to bridging finance
Experience of dealing with brokers and third parties

– Ability to work under pressure and to targets
– Strong planning and problem solving skills
