Senior Finance Analyst

Anthony Cole Associates are proud to be partnering a market leading brand, who boast a truly global footprint. Due to recent restructure and growth of the business area, they are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team in a truly business partnering capacity.

Based in London, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing high quality performance management and decision support to track performance against company plans as well as identify growth opportunities and threats. This will include critical business support to enable management to develop and achieve strategic and operational goals while optimising investment spend and cost savings.

My client requires an individual with strong communication skills and somebody who is comfortable talking to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. It will be essential to liaise with and interact across many different functions and teams both locally and globally. In addition, the individual should have a strong background in financial modelling and be confident to work independently and take ownership of projects with the support of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide high quality performance reporting to managers at all levels of the business including the leadership team. Analyse key business drivers, trends and operating metrics.

– Support business planning and forecasting process from a revenue and cost perspective including long term forecasts

– Provide financial modelling for key strategic initiatives and support for detailed business case creation, analysis and tracking

– Facilitate cross functional engagement to validate business cases, implement and incorporate in our financial plans

– Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and revenue and cost reviews

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will be a qualified accountant with some post qualification experience within an FP&A/Business partnering function from a global business, and have a strong academic profile. This role will focus on supporting the revenue areas of the business and so experience in this would be preferred, however a cost background would also be considered. The ideal candidate will have a business partnering experience from within a Financial Services environment.
