Shipping Sales Support

• Consolidate and distribute respective booking forecasts for all the services within a given scope of responsibilities.
• Maintain customer and office allocations
• Maintain rate and contribution guidelines for Sales in conjunction with TM, first point of contact for Sales rate and routing queries.
• Liaise with TM on rates and seek agreement to rate proposals
• Overflow management together with Area Management, Slot Controllers and Planners.
• Steer volumes and revenues through close coordination with Operations, Controlling and Trade Management to improve bottom results.
• Maximise volume generation and profitability. Optimise space utilisation while minimising operational cost.
• Plan and forecast. Develop, coordinate and monitor budget performance. Assist in preparation of monthly actual and trend results.
• Implement sales strategies in accordance with Trade Management.
• Follow up on performance of target accounts / commodities in liaison with Sales Execution and Sales Support.

Sales and Shipping background – ESSENTIAL

Excellent knowledge of market and competitors
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Good knowledge of products and equipment, processes, blue-print and functions and Unique Selling Points
Good knowledge of related rules and regulations
