United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: Trust Executive

Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for a Trust Executive to work as part of the Global Fundraising Directorate within the Major Giving Team.

The successful candidate will maintain a portfolio of existing trust and foundation relationships with partners in Europe and the USA and contribute to the development of funding partnerships in targeted global markets. The Trust Executive will be responsible for engaging with new trust prospects and for the successful delivery of new business, focusing on trusts and foundations capable of contributing at the high value level.

We are looking for an individual with a strong and successful track record of securing funding and developing new business relationships to bring in new income for Sightsavers. A proactive approach to maintaining and developing relationships with donors is required, as is the ability to represent the charity at the highest levels. Candidates should have an understanding of and interest in the charity sector and international development issues. Candidates should be self-starting, able to take initiative and be comfortable working to deadlines.

The post-holder will report into the Trust Manager and sit within the Major Giving team, the team responsible for Sightsavers’ partnerships with trusts and foundations, companies and major donors.

The post holder may be required to travel overseas occasionally
