Head of Marketing

THE CLIENT


This is a new strategic role within a leading national B2B building and project consultancy, which has a reputation for being commercially astute and technical excellent.
The Head of Marketing will report to and work alongside the Marketing Partner who heads up commercial services in London. The Head of Marketing would manage and engage with a small team, with opportunity and scope to grow, based on results.


THE ROLE


*Develop and shape strategy in line with the firm’s business plan to achieve growth in target professional services and fee income
*Take responsibility for developing the annual B2B marketing plan, identifying the people and financial resources need to deliver this
*Analyse the Business Development and CRM needs of the business, and work with Partners to implement effective, practicable and relevant approaches to deliver outcomes
*Ensure that high-quality campaigns are effective across the mix to include guiding digital marketing and community building
*Act as lead in all Marketing and Communications activities, both internally and externally and engage with internal and external stakeholders
*Provide planning and leadership to ensure the right structures, systems, competencies and values are developed to meet the delivery of the Marketing Plan
*Manage the marketing team in a way which inspires the team to deliver, and identify any changes or development required within the team
*Work with Partners and all fee earners to successfully market to commercial targets such as global lenders and investors, major retailers, technology corporates, airports and education clients
*Work with the Marketing Partner on setting the Marketing budget to deliver the business plan, and work with the team to ensure the budget is used effectively
*Provide a quarterly report for Exec and Board to confirm strategic objectives, marketing activity and ROI


THE CANDIDATE


*A highly motivated commercially focused person, who is quality driven and enjoys engaging with people face to face
*Has an established B2B marketing background with demonstrable business growth results, and credibility to lead in this key role
*A natural communicator at any level including high level commercial clients at corporate events
*Creative flair with ability to give direction to designers and agencies
*Be both big picture strategic thinker and able to roll up sleeves.
