The Lead Quality Development Manager is a motivational and inspirational clinician who has the ability to motivate, engage and lead a team of quality development managers and regional clinical lead nurses to provide support to the care and clinical teams in our Homes to ensure delivery of high quality care.
The post holder will take the lead with our dementia strategy ensuring that knowledge and best practise is developed and shared ensuring high quality care and support is provided.

Role Summary
To lead a team of Quality Development Managers (QDMs) to provide support across an agreed portfolio of Homes in developing and ensuring best practise in all care & clinical areas.
To lead and deploy a team of Regional Clinical Lead Nurses to provide focused clinical/ care support to Homes which have been identified as requiring an increased level of clinical support; inclusive of ensuring delivery of improvements in line with agreed plans.
To take an active lead in the delivery of our Dementia Strategy, facilitating sharing best practise across the company.
To work in business partnership with the operational teams supporting the development of excellence in care with a core focus on delivery of the dementia strategy, activity provision and agreed national care and clinical strategies.
To be focused on delivering sustained improvements in quality as reflected through improved regulator ratings
To be a lead member of the Quality & Governance Team providing professional and clinical input into the development of strategies to develop and enhance the quality of care services we provide.
To review clinical performance through the analysis of monthly clinical statistics to identify specific concerns or trends.
To work collaboratively with colleagues across all disciplines in Care UK and external agencies to develop and sustain best practise, role modelling our company values at all times and raising the profile of Care UK.

Essential Qualifications
- Level 1 Registered Nurse with evidence of current NMC registration
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of colleagues.
- Current clinical expertise in nursing with relevant specialist experience
- Experience and understanding of the independent social & health care sector
- Demonstrate knowledge of coaching/mentoring colleagues
- Practical experience of providing high quality care.
- Experience of person centered care for individuals living with dementia
