The School of Hair & Beauty wishes to appoint a full time Lecturer in Special Effects Hair & Media Make up. We are looking for a passionate and committed individual who are looking to develop learners to an outstanding standard in the forever growing industry of Hair, Media and Make up.
The post holder will teach on the Level 2 and Level 3 programmes within the school and will act as a programme leader. The role will require experience of working in the relevant industry and successful experience of designing and delivering learning in this subject area, also knowledge of the new level 3 Technical qualification is desirable.
A level 3 qualification in the relevant Special Effects Hair & Media Make up is required. In addition a teaching qualification e.g. PGCE is required or a willingness to achieve.
You should also ideally have level 2 qualifications in numeracy, literacy and ICT. However, if you do not hold these qualifications you will be expected to achieve these qualifications, for which support will be given.
