Property Project Manager – to £60K + bens – MRICS and broad design and construction knowledge required – lots of UK travel

This outstanding career opportunity as Property Project Manager is for a global, expanding Technology Company with several offices based throughout the UK.

This is a senior position, that would suit someone with construction fit out and soft service project management experience who is able to lead a significant section of a refurbishment project with a strong focus on delivery of the full project life cycle.

Based within the South (although this is flexible), you will travel throughout the UK, running a number of different projects from small air conditioning installations to full office fit outs.

Full, UK driving licence is required as well as willingness to travel throughout the UK and work away from home.

To succeed within this Property Project Manager opportunity, it is important to have the following:

• MRICS


• Health and Safety qualification


• Prior experience managing projects at multiple locations


• Broad design and construction knowledge


• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio skills


• CAD skills an advantage


• Understanding of full life cycle project delivery


• Experience with Management Contractors / Major Consultants


• Excellent negotiating talents and experience of the tender process


• Quality / client focused


• High attention to detail


• Willingness to work away from home


• Full UK driving licence

Working closely with the Programme Manager and Project team, opportunities for involvement within this Property Project Manager role include:

• Responsibility for the delivery of projects, refurbishments and fit-outs


• Analysing and improving projects – value engineering


• Close liaison with the Design team


• Liaising with Board Directors, project sponsors, HR, IT, external contractors and consultants etc


• Management of the construction plan to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget
