Assistant Accountant- National Construction Company

Armstrong Knight are working with one of the foremost property development companies in the country, who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant due to significant business growth, and contract wins over the last 12 months.

Your role as the Assistant Accountant will require you to undertake the book keeping for construction, property and rental parts of the business.

You will prepare the construction accounts to Trial balance level, and deal with the VAT and CIS returns.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have 5+ years recent experience of accounts work within a construction company

You will have Completed AAT or be ‘qualified by experience’.

You will be Hands on, and detail orientated

Be highly Organised and effective

Be Able to communicate at all levels and establish effective business relationships

Have sound IT skills (excel to v look up/pivot table standard)

A conversancy with CIS and VAT experience in property environment is essential

Knowledge and Experience of QUBE, is highly desirable.
