Finance Assistant - 9 month FTC



A world-class global telecommunications company is now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. As the Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for raising company purchase orders, monthly network billing and assisting with company expenses.


Key accountabilities as a Finance Assistant:


  • Management reporting

  • Provide input and analysis for budget expenses annually

  • Network Billing

  • Management Accounts

  • Employee Expenses

  • Purchase Orders

  • Focal Point administrator. Use Focal Point admin programme, where new users are added and expense types are added / amended or options can be changed

  • VAT returns – WSG & CCE

  • WS Inc Administration (Banking & state returns)

  • Ad-hoc projects and producing ad-hoc reports

Knowledge, Skills & Experience as a Finance Assistant:


  • Educated to ‘A’ Level Maths and English grade 3

  • Hold or be studying for an accounting qualification, eg AAT, CIMA or ACCA

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of finance management systems

  • Minimum 2 years’ commercial experience with understanding of WS business context

  • Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet skills
