Junior Paraplanner - Reputable firm



Our client is recruiting for a Junior Paraplanner to join their offices and contribute to their growing success. The client is a successful wealth management firm based in The City who specialise in providing full financial planning advice to clients, with a heavy focus on investment management and retirement planning.


This role would be suitable for a paraplanner with some experience who is looking to develop their career within a hugely respected company. The key aspect of the role will require you to carry out high quality technical research on a full range of financial planning products and services.


Duties include:


  • Draft financial planning reports and letters on specific planning areas, providing recommendations based on information given by the client

  • Draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation

  • Work closely with Partners and Consultants in each location (as appropriate) to ensure individual cases are completed accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with clients’ stated needs, goals and objectives

  • Participate in development opportunities for Paraplanners;

  • Support Partners and Consultants for any required technical client work.

  • Identify any missed sales opportunities on cases undertaken.

In order to be considered for the role you must have gained at least 2 years experience as a paraplanner at a financial advisory or wealth management firm. Candidates must be Level 4 Diploma Qualified. The client is seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, a high level of analytical and numerical ability and someone who can prioritise and organise a high workload. The role offers excellent development opportunities and internal career progression.
