Outreach Co-ordinator

Health & Ed are recruiting on behalf of our client who have been established for over 20 years within the social care sector providing support and care to vulnerable young people, helping them to prepare for their future, enabling them to live positively and independently.

We are looking for Outreach Co-ordinator to oversee the Outreach work that is undertaken with young people within residential and/or supported living environment in the South East London areas.

Suitable candidates will have experience and/or knowledge in the following:

• Experience of supporting vulnerable young people.


• An understanding of the needs and how to deal with challenging behaviour.


• An understanding of substance use/abuse


• An understanding of mental health needs


• Ability to be flexible, approachable and accessible at all times.

They will also need to be energetic, motivated, resilient and enthusiastic in their approach. Excellent communicator who shows initiative is essential. Experience working with young adults with challenging behaviour is an advantage.

Applicants must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce and working towards QCF Level 5. An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service, would also be necessary.
