Project Worker 2 - Surrey area - Barnardo's - London
Barnardo’s are working in partnership with Surrey and Borders NHS partnership Trust to deliver child and Adolescent Mental health services in Surrey. In a new and unique behaviour pathway delivering services to families with ADHD and Aspergers Barnardo’s are seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed Project Worker .
The post holder will be part of a brand new service in a small team delivering parenting programmes to parents whose children have been diagnosed with ADHD. You should have experience of delivering services to families, have knowledge of group work principles and have a sound understanding of the possible impact of ADHD on family life.
This role will be the lead delivering our Parenting programmes. As such the post holder must have an ability to work flexibly across the county and be able to pick up work quickly, develop strong working relationships and have a passion for high service delivery for parents and families.
We are looking for a manager with skills to deliver a family based service which makes a real difference to families in Surrey. An ability to work some evenings and weekends is required and as the service will be delivered across the whole of Surrey and in local communities an ability to travel is essential.
A relevant professional qualification is desirable. This post will be subject to a DBS check.
