The primary purposes of the post are a) to carry out a scoping study of community based services for adults with learning disabilities; and b) to provide quantitative support in the analysis of, and writing up, of a longitudinal prospective study of the work of Community Learning Disability Teams with adult service users with learning disabilities and these additional needs. You will need to be able to write clearly and succinctly to support publications. Ideally, you will have some previous experience in working in NHS or Local Authority services for people with learning (intellectual) disabilities. You will be working with an inter-disciplinary team and a range of service commissioners and providers and should have excellent interpersonal skills. You should also have excellent organisational skills.

The post will be in a thriving research group, the Cambridge Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Group (www.CIDDRG.org.uk; led by Professor Anthony Holland) in the  Department of Psychiatry, Douglas House, Trumpington Road, Cambridge, but travel across the East of England will be required. The post is available immediately.
