Senior Manager – Audit – Top 20 Firm

A leading international Top 20 firm are currently recruiting! They are looking for a Senior Manager to join their Audit team. Based in London but with worldwide offices, the world truly is your oyster. This is an extremely varied role where you will experience working within a number of industries. The role will pay up to £80,000.

As the Audit Senior Manager you will be managing and building client relationships. You will be liaising with other departments throughout the company to ensure all processes are running smoothly as well as ironing out any glitches. You will be working with clients in excess of £100m as well as FTSE 100 and Bluechip companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a Client Portfolio and build Client relationships


• Liaisons with client Partners and other staff where appropriate to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.


• Responsible for setting budgets and Audit work


• Business/Practice Development – this will include attending marketing events and gaining awareness for the company


• Preparation of proposals for new work, creating opportunities and supplying the business with innovative ideas to generate more profit


• Manage your own team including training and development

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).


• Significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment.


• Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME and AIM listed clients.


• Experience of business development activities


• Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics and their application.


• Strong communication skills in order to liaise with clients, Partners, staff and other professionals.


• Previous experience of management and motivation of staff to ensure best performance.


• Monitoring costs against budget for individual clients.
