Software Support Analyst
A new opportunity has arisen to join an expanding and busy team providing first Software Support and Development.
Candidate Criteria:
Excellent problem solving skills, to play a part in the support and enhancement of business application software for EU customers.
The position will suit a person with experience in relevant IT roles including development or with a desire to work in a software maintenance and development role.
The main software is currently developed in 4GL with peripheral products in C# and .NET.
The role is largely internal but it is likely that there may be an occasional need for UK and overseas travel.
Duties:
To be the primary help desk resource for EU clients
Develop and modify the software and reports as required
Other programming tasks as required
Implement software upgrades and patches to customers as required
Requirements
Some experience in a similar role.
Software development skills in any language/environment
Basic understanding of network management and LAN/WAN concepts
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows PC and Server operating systems.
To be able to communicate effectively.
Ability to manage own time and plan activities to ensure objectives met.
Problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good customer service skills.
