Toner Graham are a specialist recruitment consultant representing a financial services operation in their quest for fulfilment of this role.  An exciting opportunity available for a board-level finance manager, with a knack for operations.

We are looking to recruit a strong client facer, who can also demonstrate good mixed tax technical skills to lead a fast-paced and dynamic team. With a core market focus in accounting and finance services for start-up technology companies, the office culture is energetic and fun.

You will be equally comfortable tackling CT600’s and personal tax returns and ideally also be familiar with the technology sector, R&D tax credits and EMI schemes.
The successful candidate will enjoy a real mixture of personal and corporate tax work, good exposure to tax planning in addition to the compliance aspects of the role and genuine prospects for career progression in a department with ambitions to match your own.

The role

– CTA and/or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
– Previous experience gained within a professional services firm in a mixed tax capacity
– Mixed Tax compliance responsibility for a portfolio including companies, LLP’s & personal tax clients
– Researching technical points and building advisory knowledge
– Helping the partner build a tax team to support the practice
– Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to express tax technical material in an easily digestible manner for clients
