Systems Administrator
For a well renowned UK charity we are looking for a Systems Administrator to join the Retail side of their already well established team. They have a national network of over 80 charity shops and need an experienced administrator with strong IT systems skills to join them.
Reporting into the Head of Operations, as the Retail Systems Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide user help desk and other support and training for all users of the Retail IT systems
- Review data for anomalies and encourage appropriate staff to correct these on a timely basis
- Work closely with management, finance and internal audit functions
- Monitor and take overall ownership of the performance and effectiveness of the Retail IT systems
- Maintain a robust control environment, including user access, segregation of duties, master files, financial data etc
- Co-ordinate the design and delivery of training
The successful candidate will be CCAB part qualified accountant with previous experience in the charity sector. Has experience in an IT systems support role and in implementing new systems. Advanced Excel, VBA and SQL skills are essential to this role, as would with reporting using Crystal Reports, SSRS, in addition experience with an EPOS system would be highly beneficial.
