Oxfam GB is looking for a senior Humanitarian Lead to provide leadership and strategic vision to Oxfam’s humanitarian work globally in the context of our one programme approach. By combining your highly developed leadership and advocacy and influencing skills, along with your deep understanding of humanitarian issues, this role will enable you to make a real difference through Oxfam’s humanitarian work.

As ‘Oxfam GB Humanitarian Lead’ you will:

• Provide leadership and strategic vision for Oxfam GB’s contribution to Oxfam’s humanitarian work globally in the context of our one programme approach.

  Represent Oxfam GB at the highest levels within the UK Humanitarian sector and market with the UK government, UK humanitarian networks and academic institutions.

  Act as the key humanitarian contact point within Oxfam GB for colleagues in the Global Humanitarian Team and country programmes

  Play an influential role in shaping and delivering Oxfam GB’s programme offer to the confederation.

  Take a lead role in understanding, influencing and shaping external humanitarian policies in a way that contributes to the development of the national humanitarian sector and enhances Oxfam GB’s reputation as a member of a leading humanitarian confederation
