Job Description:Position Summary: Support the company vision through front line management
of Store Associates. Primary responsibility is to
support the Store Manager and Co-Manager’s efforts in
driving Associates to execute their job duties by
supporting a fun, challenging, and rewarding culture.
All Assistant Managers are considered Co-Managers in
Training.
Directly Drives Employees to Achieve Excellence in:
- Sales Performance
- Understand weekly, monthly and annual comp and target
goals
- Drive to maximize Units Per Transaction
- Drive to maximize Average Dollar Sales
- Ensure all payroll and scheduling plans are followed
- Meet sales contest objectives
- Operational Discipline
- Motivate employees by example to maintain a great
looking and functioning store
- Manage according to standard operating procedures
- Reduce shrink using company tools and resources
- Visual Execution in partnership with Visual Manager
- Efficient and timely execution of Visual directives
- Maximize merchandising needs while following standards
- Merchandise management and flow
- Promote the company’s fashion forward image
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized store
- Teamwork
- Re-enforce training to ensure job responsibilities are
executed
- Continually work to improve individual and team

- Support a productive and positive team atmosphere
- Communicate to Store Manager obstacles in conduct and
performance issues

- Customer Service
- Lead by example all customer service standards
- Ensure store team commits to and executes customer

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute and support Company and Store Manager’s
business objectives
- Actively engage the Store Manager on efforts towards
store profitability and team performance and morale
- Work directly with Store Associates providing
leadership and motivation
- Follow all expenditure and payroll limits and support
sales goals
- Collaborate with other Assistant Managers to maximize
employee performance
- Support a store-wide fun, exciting and rewarding
culture
- Communicate merchandise transfer opportunities to
Store Manager
- Keep updated on Operations and Visual Memos
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Partner with Store Manager for all
outstanding-unresolved store issues
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of fashion Retail Management experience
- Excellent ability to train and motivate team members
- High flexibility with schedule required
- Basic computer and math proficiency
- Friendly, courteous, and positive attitude is a must
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required
- Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and
follow direction
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Maintain a friendly, professional behavior at all
times
