Our client is a leading provider of business information, reports and data and sell globally in to the energy industry. This role with give you the chance to work for a very reputable company with offices worldwide and a professional / relaxed atmosphere. You will be treated as a true professional in a highly reputable market.

You will have responsibilities for all aspects of the client relationship with a defined prospect and existing customers. You will be focused on retaining and growing the existing contract revenue, with new products it essential that their focus is on growing the client base and so activity is aimed towards gaining new customers.

Client relationships are built and maintained via telephone and email, with some face-to-face meetings taking place. An ability to develop strong business relationships in a phone-based environment is therefore crucial to the success of this role. As an Business Development Manager you will grow and retain the base.

You will need to have experience of selling in to the Oil, Gas or Energy sector for this role.

*Strong negotiation and closing skills to manage renewals to a successful conclusion
*A proven successful track record of at least 2 years in a Sales role
*Experience in the Energy Sector and Languages would be a bonus
