About you

We are looking for a highly experienced shelter specialist to join our UK team tasked with supporting CARE’s Country Offices with Housing, Land & Property (HLP) work. You will develop cutting edge policies, strategies and tools to support CAREs global work in the shelter sector. You will also be responsible for developing strong relations with institutional donors, peer agencies, the shelter and protection clusters and HLP AoR.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in humanitarian crises on shelter or HLP programmes In addition you will have previous experience in high level representation. A proactive team player with strong communication skills, an ability to work remotely with country offices and a strong awareness of gender in emergencies.
