Lead Technical Services Manager – Home based with travel in the South East – IT Outsourcing Client

Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidates to apply for a Service Manager with a leading IT Outsourcing organisation.
This is a permanent position which can be based at home but with frequent travel to client sites in the south east. My client is seeking a candidate from both technical infrastructure delivery background but with excellent Service Management skills working on large account sizes (multi million). This comes with an excellent salary range, competitive benefits package including 15% bonus, car allowance and excellent pension scheme.

Overview


You will be responsible for the ownership of the service quality management of cluster of customer accounts within Delivery. Be responsible for Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation activities end to end for specified global customer.

*Service design and strategy
*Service Delivery management


Technical Background in some of the following areas:


*Storage administration & support
*Server administration & support
*DBA administration & support
*Computing Services Architecture
*Capacity planning & management
*Application Operations
*ITIL Service Transition and Service Operation.
*Continual Service Improvement
*Solution Architecture
*Sales
*Technical Project management


Experiences/ Qualifications


*In depth and recent experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications industry.
*Excellent working knowledge of management disciplines and processes including ITIL v3
*Excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal skills and leading in change.
*Ability to work across various cultures and across organizational boundaries.
*General management, matrix management experience and strong team development skills.
*Customer contractual service and service level agreement exposure.
*In depth experience in an outsource vendor environment, specifically in service delivery or experience working on the customer side of an outsourcing relationship.
*Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
*Delivery of large scale transformation projects.
*Experience of managing client expectations in large scale programmes.
