Remedy are looking for an experienced teaching assistant with a specialism working with challenging young people for a Pupil Referral Unit in the Ealing area.

We are looking for an experienced TA/Cover Supervisor confident in working with children with EBD.

The successful applicant will be a dependable and calm EBD Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with challenging children either in a voluntary or paid role and can provide a safe, nurturing environment. You will arrive with a willingness to take on extra responsibility which will further your understanding of working in education.

In this EBD Teaching Assistant position you will be joining a particularly ambitious team who work hard to achieve progress for their students. You will spend the majority of your time working towards the targets for improvement of behaviour, learning and social achievements of each individual pupil.

The School – EBD Teaching Assistant – Ealing Area

A mixture of Primary & Secondary aged children in a excellent run PRU in West London located a short walk from it’s nearest station. This is Ealing’s educational provision for challenging students whose primary need is their social, emotional or behavioural development. They cater for up to 100 young people who are identified as requiring such provision who have been permanently excluded from mainstream school, or are at significant risk of being permanently excluded and requiring a managed short term intervention to prevent permanent exclusion.
