Retail Sales Consultant – £13,500 p.a. ( £7.21 per hour )

Shift working – full or part time opportunities available

Based: Heathrow Airport

The Role

The Retail Sales Consultant will serve passengers wishing to exchange currency or reclaim VAT at the airport. The Retail Sales Consultant will engage with clients to upsell other products and services and maximise revenue opportunities, using all available marketing tools to drive sales performance. You will serve on average approx. 50 customers during non-peak season and twice as many during peak season, offering the best service possible to every passenger.

The Person

The successful Retail Sales Consultant will be a confident communicator, a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clients from a wide range of nationalities and cultures. You will have previous customer service, retail and cash handling experience, numeracy, attention to detail and a basic level of IT literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office.

The role can be full or part time and will be on a shift basis (flexible), with shifts starting as early as 4.30am and finishing as late as 10.30pm on a weekly basis.

Successful candidates must pass a numeracy test, be able to provide a 5-year checkable history, plus pass credit and criminal record checks. Please ensure you can travel to and from the airport for the specified shift times.
