A ‘Good’ Primary school in Hackney, North London is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a position starting in January 2016.

This role will be split between working with an ASD child and a Down syndrome child, both of whom need additional support in their learning. For this position you will need to be friendly, positive and patient and will need to help both pupils feel confident in their ability. Both pupils are very well behaved and really enjoy learning; however they do require assistance keeping on track and contextualizing their work.

The children you will be working with are in Early Years – Key Stage 1 classes and are below the national average in terms of their class work. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to quickly build strong relationships with pupils, and has a calm and patient demeanor.
