PA supporting a Partner and Associate Partner at a successful Venture Capitalist backed by a well-known global company. Both the partner and associate partner are extremely credible professionals looking for a PA who has worked within Financial Services.


Client Details


Our client is a successful Venture Capitalist company who are securely backed and involved in a credible, global company. They also have a team of 25 people in America and are therefore in contact with them regularly. Based in an amazing building in the City of London.


Description


To provide administrative support to the London team, understanding priorities, planning ahead with regard to day to day needs and key team activities. Duties to include:


  • Effective management of schedules with a client-focused approach. It is important to anticipate and understand the urgency of issues so meetings can be arranged appropriately, understanding the importance of key business issues and identify critical items.

  • Diary management: effectively manage diaries, ensuring clarity on the purpose of meetings scheduled and meeting documentation ready for prior review.

  • Management of meetings: prepare meeting papers, coordinating to ensure all participants are prepared, ensuring actions are followed up, producing regular reports.

  • Booking travel and creating itineraries: take care to provide detailed instructions, covering every detail of the arrangements

  • Communication: take phone messages from colleagues and clients; keep everyone informed of critical issues that need attention. Deal with highly confidential information in a sensitive and appropriate manner with tact and diplomacy. Proactively manage the Partner’s inbox, raising key communications with him in a timely manner. Take ownership for resolving issues where possible in his absence and ensuring he is kept informed of progress

  • Planning events such as off-sites or departmental meetings, taking care of all logistical details

  • Preparing and reviewing documentation: prepare documents, including electronic expenses, spreadsheets and presentations. Review content of documentation to ensure accuracy, suitability, and relevance of information being presented.

  • Organising documentation: responsible for maintaining system for storing hard copy and electronic documents so they are easily accessible

Profile


The ideal candidate will have worked as a PA at a senior level. They will preferably have worked in Financial Services and will want to work in a boutique environment. They will be happy to commute to the City of London.


Job Offer


A 9 month Fixed Term contract paying between £30,000 and £35,000 with incredible benefits included:


Bonus 10% (discretionary)


25 days annual leave (pro-rata)
