This role would suit a charismatic Year 1 Teacher who has some previous experience in an inner city school and previous experience of managing EAL pupils. The school will consider NQT’s but would prefer and experienced Year 1 teacher.

This large school is losing a long-standing teacher to promotion and relocation. For this reason the school would like to find a like for like replacement and would ideally want to see teachers with a couple of years of good or better year 1 teacher experience under their belts.

You should possess the teaching talent to reach every student through motivational and exciting lessons, filled with excellent interaction and involvement. In this Year 1 Teacher position you will be taking on a bustling Year 1 class of 28 pupils and you will be liaising with the dedicated SLT. You will have the responsibility of working alongside an experienced and friendly Teaching Assistant who will help you in class. As a Year 1 Teacher you will be working with bright, airy classrooms you will be well placed to progress your abilities as a teacher increase engagement in your class.
