Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line ( Hyper-V / Microsoft / AD / Exchange )

My client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line ( Hyper-V / Microsoft / AD / Exchange ) who is highly motivated and looking to progress their career. As the Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line ( Hyper-V / Microsoft / AD / Exchange ) you will be working with several of the organisations clients and will be customer and client facing. As the Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line you will also be required to work a shift pattern which is worked on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will have at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Technical Support Engineer and managing standard workplace technologies such as Microsoft Windows Desktop, Server Infrastructure, Citrix VDI, Directory Services, Messaging and Blackberry. Preferably the ideal candidate will multiple Windows server experience.

Essential skills: Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line ( Hyper-V / Microsoft / AD / Exchange )

· A comprehensive technical grounding and experience of supporting Windows

· Desktops, Laptops, Microsoft Office, Blackberry, Internet, Remote Access Software and Printers.

· Active Directory Administration.

· Excellent customer service skills and be able to relate to users with different levels of skill

· Hyper-V

· Windows Server

· Exchange

Desirable skills: Technical Support Engineer 2nd Line ( Hyper-V / Microsoft / AD / Exchange ):

· Firewall

· Mobile devises – IOS/Apple

· Back-up/Security

Essential Qualifications:

· Microsoft certified

Desirable Qualifications:

· ITIL Foundation;

· 2.2 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
