A national student accommodation brand with a leading position in this dynamic market are looking to recruit an Accommodation Manager to run their brand new E17 site. This is a challenging, exciting role for a vibrant brand that’s making waves in the market.

This role is based in North-East London and is a permanent opportunity and paying up to £42,000 per annum + Benefits

Our client manages large purpose built student accommodation housing between 100 – 600 students. The accommodation ranges from shared flats to self-contained studios with additional Services and facilities. This new site will be their largest site in operation and is a prestigious opportunity for a skilled Accommodation Manager.

Reporting the Regional Manager you will have total responsibility for the on-site management (staff management, budgetary control) building maintenance and achieving 100% customer satisfaction

Core duties of the Accommodation Manager:

– Help achieve and maintain full occupancy through effective management of the letting and sales process

– Identify new opportunities for marketing and generating leads (leaflets, open days)

– Keep up to speed with competitor analysis

– Maintain the tenancy database and ensure the tenants are well managed

– Ensure regular inspections of rooms and that buildings are maintained to a high standard

– Collecting rent and charges where necessary

– Provide a first class customer service

– Assist in the organisation and management of social events to engage with the tenants

– Provide a signposting service to students requiring additional support and pastoral care

Skills/Experience expected of the Accommodation Manager:

– A dedicated manager with experience managing residential/student buildings/accommodation

– Full understanding of Landlord and tenant legislation

– Experience of managing hard and soft services within a building environment

– A good understanding of the student market in your area

– Excellent organisational skills

– A confident communicator
