Business Development Executive - OTE £65k in 1st year



Our client is one of the world’s fastest growing digital media companies, providing email marketing and digital advertising solutions to clients including, Microsoft, IBM and Gartner. Their sector specific job boards and tech community sites are market leaders and their cutting edge, clever marketing software solutions are taking the market by storm.


Due to significant UK expansion they are looking for a Sales executive to join their team who have just been voted Sales Team of the Year by BESMA.


The role will involve selling digital advertising and email marketing solutions to Tier 1 clients and their advertising agencies. Working as part of a team and individually, you will be expected to hit and exceed sales targets. A willingness to learn, ability to thrive under pressure and bags of enthusiasm and resilience are the keys to success in this role. Our client offers great sales training and fast track career progression, an unrivaled earning potential and amazing benefits package. As digital sales executive you will be required to:


  • Develop great working relationships with FTSE 250 companies, across all industry sectors, establishing their digital advertising and marketing needs, providing commercial solutions whilst maximising revenue.

  • Regular face to face meetings with your clients, demonstrating the benefits of advertising with you.

  • Hit or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

  • Gain a full understanding of digital advertising, competitive sites and the advertising industry.

  • Build creative proposals and presentations.

  • Develop and gain new business – lead chasing.

  • Manage accurate territory revenue forecasts.

Skills required: A drive to get on the phone and source new business—Excellent communication, collaboration and inter-personal skills—Fun and lively personality—”can do” attitude—Proven track record of successfully working within a target driven environment—Educated to degree level,minimum 2.1—Competitive & resilient—Self motivated – Ability to imagine, create and sell innovative advertising campaigns.


Ultimately the successful candidate will be a very enthusiastic individual with the ability and confidence to sell to multiple companies on a daily basis.


Salary: £22k basic plus uncapped commission (OTE £65kk in 1st year) and benefits (Pension / 25 Days Holiday / Healthcare / Laptop / Gym Membership)
