Finance Analyst

We are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Analyst for a Global Retail business based in London. The business is undergoing significant growth both in the UK and Overseas and as a direct result of this growth they are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to be a truly commercially focused Business Partner.

As Senior Finance Analyst you will be responsible for delivering insightful analysis to answer key business questions that directly influence the day to day and long term strategy of the business. As Senior Finance Analyst you will work with senior management to support the development of appropriate strategies for the growth of the European business and partner across the entire organisation to support both financially and analytically towards their goals and priorities.

You will work with business partners to build financial business cases to support large scale investments and work with the Manager of Analysis to provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc financial analyses that drive strategic business decisions. The Senior Finance Analyst will evaluate and report actual versus planned outcomes of key European Strategic and tactical decisions.

The business offers a fantastic opportunity to progress and this role will support the whole organisation partnering Marketing, Operations, Property, Merchandising, Buying, Distribution, Ecommerce and more.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic pedigree but most importantly have a high level of drive and initiative combined with an analytical approach to problem solving and commercial awareness. They will be qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA and have gained experience within a consumer facing business. This could also be an opportunity for an ACA qualified looking to make their first move into industry.
