Safety and Operational Risk NFMI Analyst
A renowned Oil & Gas company are looking for a Safety and Operational Risk NFMI Analyst to join them in order to help with data reporting processes.
The primary purpose of the Safety and Operational Risk (S&OR) function is to support the reduction of operating risk and improvement of operating performance of the company. The S&OR NFMI Analyst role is part of the embedded S&OR Finance team that supports the success of the function.
Key responsibilities:
*Manage and continually improve the Group’s greenhouse gas (GHG) and environmental and social data reporting processes, communicate effectively with stakeholders in advance of the submission period, and work with the Communications Team to ensure that data is reflected accurately in external reports.
*Become a super-user of MI View (the system used to manage environmental NFMI) and actively work with the development team to identify and deliver further enhancements. Ensure that the system used to gather the data accurately reflects the effective organisation and is functioning as expected. Manage the response to issues and/or risks raised during the data submission periods and liaise with environmental leads and subject matter experts to ensure that their reporting needs are met in a timely manner.
*Support the submission, collation, review and publication of internally reported S&OR NFMI.
*Support the submission, collation, review and publication of externally reported environmental and social NFMI to the investor community (CDP) and industry bench marking groups (GBG, API, IOGP).
*Support other S&OR Finance work around HSE reporting.
*Own and update the environmental reporting Control Evaluation Templates that support consistent documentation and evaluation of Internal Control over Financial Reporting; articulating process, risks and issues to the S&OR NFMI Manager in order to enable escalation or sign off and be an active member of the Saratoga Network.
The Successful candidate will have experience in the following:
*Demonstrable experience working with and delivery of complex Non-Financial Management Information.
*Must be a self-starter who is able to manage multiple workflows and projects to a demanding schedule.
*Have a proven track record for working with virtual teams and an ability to foster good relationships with key stakeholders.
*Excellent team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including the translation of complex requirements into simple requests.
*Have a desire to simplify processes in order to concentrate on value adding activities.
*Clearly competent in the use of Excel and have experience working with Business Objects.
