This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Candidate to join a leading, innovative Audio Visual company in London. The successful applicant will oversee projects from concept through to completion and the role requires working with the Production, Design, Development and Consultancy departments to ensure all projects are completed within specification, budget and integrated to high standards.

Description

The Head of Engineering role will involve the following:

• Managing a growing team of talented engineers, guiding the team through varied technical decisions


• Providing feedback on relevant technologies used on internal or external projects


• Maintaining a high standard of quality control on system specification, design, integration and support


• Providing technical advice and support to the Production team and Project Managers on a frequent basis


• Analysing and writing test standards and procedures along with maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software


• Day-to-day supervision and management of the team, monitoring the delivery of all work produced


• Undertaking performance appraisals alongside the Head of Production for the Production Team


• Communicating effectively and professionally with clients, colleagues and third parties when working on projects

Profile

The successful applicant for the Head of Engineering role based in London will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong industry experience in a similar role


• Experience in working on multiple large projects at any one time


• Good working knowledge of MSOffice – primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email and web software


• Ability to effectively manage resources to meet contract KPI’s and customer expectations

Job Offer

£50,000 – £60,000 + 20% bonus + benefits
