Business Intelligence Analyst

Systems overview: SQL Server 2005 up to SQL 2014 / SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – migrating to Qlikview / MS Azure

We are looking for an experienced BI reporting analyst to come and join our Client’s small development team taking on full report ownership (both internal and client led). You will need to be enthusiastic and ready to contribute and keen to be part of a team. This is a responsible position so you will be expected to actively develop ideas and solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

*An excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server from a reporting perspective.
*Practical knowledge of key SQL Server technologies: SSRS, Service Broker, Transactional Replication and Full Text indexing
*2+ years database development experience
*Good communication skills, be able to discuss solutions and decisions with the development team and the business
*Practical knowledge of the development of T-SQL code and its interaction with IIS ASP and ASP.NET driven applications

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

*Understanding of cloud technologies especially Windows Azure.
*C# application/web programming knowledge.
