SENCO required for School in South West London

Sugarman Education are currently for a SENCO for a Secondary School in South West London. The role will involve managing all the SEN aspects of the school along with teaching SEN children on a part-time basis.

The school is looking for someone who has experience of working with young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as:

• Autism


• Epilepsy


• Down syndrome,


• ADHD


• Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties


• Learning Difficulties


• PMLD

This Position Requires;

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly

To be patient and empathetic

Reliability / commitment to the school and students

The ability to enthuse and engage

***Previous experience of working with young people or adults with special needs is essential***

You will be required to manage the Learning Support Department, including LSAs, and develop the

SEN provision within the school.
