Apprentice Childcare Assistant

Our client, is seeking a warm and friendly Childcare Assistant who is passionate about working with children to join their Nursery.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with parents


• Recording accidents in the accident book


• Working with children


• Assisting with proving a safe environment


• Engaging and supporting staff team in providing high quality child care and education.


• Keeping detailed records of achievement and carrying out observations for each child


• Assisting with and ensuring unit is clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at A-C including English & Maths


• Level 1 in Childcare


• Familiarity with nursery policies and procedures


• Superb interpersonal skills


• Basic understanding of what working in a childcare environment entails


• A genuine desire to work with children


• Ability to respect the confidentiality and privacy of information


• Excellent communication and literacy skills
